We may have something awesome HERE!

While I was relaxing and spending some time on the couch with Louie.  She saw a commercial for Uncharted 4.  When it was playing on the TV, she said “here’s another for you to game to review”.  I kindly responded, “I’d like to”, with a clear inclination that I want the game, but can’t afford to get it.  She also mentioned this, after seeing a commercial for Overwatch.  (Which I’m still torn on Battleborn and Overwatch, as to the one to play!)

Then she surprised me right out of left field and said.  “How about I review a few games?”

I was ELATED to hear that coming from her and certainly didn’t expect her to say that.  So, I’ll look at some of my indie titles and get her started with one or two there.  If that doesn’t work, we’ll try some mobile games out there.  But I think I have a few things, I can think of.

I have to admit, that probably took a LOT from her and REALLY do appreciate her more than anything, yet equal to our daughter Grace.  Love you, Lou.

Can Video Games Improve Learning?

As much as I would like to agree with this. Parents shouldn’t support their kids playing games simply because it will “enhance them”, but do it as an activity here and there as a family. Gaming is an experience that should be picked up later in a child’s life. I might be reading this article wrong, but it feels like an advocacy to get kids into gaming early. Not really cool with that. I know, that sounds odd coming from me…

When we talk about the video games, an image of couch potatoes, teenage quarrels, scolding and a lot of crazy activities come to our mind. For most of the people, the video gaming hampers the brain growth of the children and make them less attentive and lazy. Has anyone ever thought of the positive side of it? It can be a real trailblazing when taken up in moderation and with an optimistic approach. Video games can be used as a teaching tool to strengthen the learning. These games train the brain to think quick, build a few qualities and develop intellectual skills that improve the learning efficacy in the children.

Getting prepped for Fallout 4 mods!!

Following the release of the most recent Fallout 4 DLC, Besthesda released the new mod creation kit or GECK (Garden of Eden Creation Kit).  Which means almost EVERYTHING can be modified.  From new weapons, locations, quests, animations, creatures; YOU NAME IT!  This time around, consoles will be getting access to mods, but they will only be available through Bethesda’s screening process.  Which means, no ADULT CONTENT, which is kind of obvious.  (But it might mean, that they will filter out the more unstable mods).

Regardless, are undergoing beta phase for XBox One and will be available in June for PS4.  I’M SUPER EXCITED and CANNOT WAIT!  For the time being, CHECK OUT THE LINK!!!

This is a taste of what Fallout mods are like!
