The Age Old Question: How Do I Avoid Burnt Out!

I was burnt out by December and I found that just taking a break and walking away from blogging worked. Perseverance might work for some, I just ended up losing more interest in what I was writing about.

After I moved my focus away from the site, spent more time for myself, wife and daughter; I regained my desire to write and so forth.

Maybe it just depends on why you were being burnt out.

This week has been garbage…

All I’ve been recently is tired.  I haven’t had any motivations to write, nor have gotten ANY inspiration.  This probably a slump or just a bad week.  I don’t know…I’d like to keep you guys entertained and sharing good stories, art, music, gaming and life experiences; yet for some reason.  I’VE GOT NO MOTIVATION!!!

The week has been fairly shitty, with me getting nothing but negative feedback from all directions.  (I’m not going to elaborate)  Last week, I practically had barely any chance, nor do anything productive.  Followed along with me being an irritable son of a bitch personally, has not helped.

I’ll be doing some posting here and there, mostly reblogs and promo’s for everybody else.  Hell, I may just take a break overall; but I have a vacation coming up, next month so I might do it then.  I’m loving the FANTASTIC comments you guys are putting out there!!  It does reignite my flames!!!  Just need to take a breather.

Maybe the answer is right under our nose!

Now, I’m not sharing this, because you’d think I’m drooling over these pictures of Beyonce (Really! I’m not! REALLY!! Oh OK, I am!) But what I like about this article, is that the quote at the end.

“It’s not about perfection. It’s about purpose. We have to care about our bodies and what we put in them.”

You see, those that truly feel terrible about themselves and how they look, truly do have legitimate reasons why aren’t doing enough. NOW TO THOSE THAT HAVE SERIOUS MEDICAL CONDITIONS, WE KNOW THIS DOESN’T APPLY TO YOU.

Many of us, myself included; allowed ourselves to continue to eat and drink garbage food. We all make excuses and NEVER make the changes. They don’t have to be drastic and eating a fat cheeseburger or drinking a soda, doesn’t have to go away. But we have to break the ADDICTION. I always hear the words moderation, endlessly, ALL THE TIME! So how do we moderate it, where do we begin? That is something only we can answer ourselves! For me, I think I need to think deep inside and figure out what brings me back to the 40oz sodas, large sandwiches with tons of deep-fried sides. I’M TIRED…OF THIS WAY OF LIFE!
Fast food tastes good, but NOT THAT GOOD, my cooking at home tastes a hell of a lot better than this.
Don’t know about you, but I gotta stop!

We all need to stop worrying about imperfections and focus on HOW WHAT WE ARE DOING TO OWN BODIES. Stop looking at the rolls, bumps, wrinkles and think about what important……YOU….YOUR BODY.

Thanks, and I apologize for the sidetrack!

Beyonce’s recent pose on a chair for the Elle Magazine’s May issue shows she’s very sporty and flexible. Queen Bey could have been a gymnast without music, just maybe.

The singer who currently launched her new wear line is promoting the business outfit Ivy Park. It is an active-wear fashion line.

Puny to Powerful!! Gamer dad, get off your ass!

Two weeks ago, my Louie (my wife) got fed up with inactive and began exercising 6 times a week.  Diet wise, we were already getting into making our meals at home and eating out or ordering once a week.  (With it being one or the other)

She’s stayed consistent and reminded me, that I didn’t have to start exercising, but she definitely gave me motivations to get back into it.

Now, exercise wise and physique I’ve stayed strong and not to the point where it has affected my appearance too much.  But I’ll be honest, I hadn’t worked out for about four months, which is BAD.  So I decided to hit it up and start back up.  Two sessions at the gym later and I feel like Kimbo Slice’s heavy bag.

Hey Slice, why you gotta bring a gun to fistfight?!

Today, I got sick while doing the elliptical for only 10 minutes and I could feel my chest tightening.  After about 10 minutes of resting and hydrating, did I continue my workout with weights.  (At this point, I felt cardio would’ve made things much worse)  My worry from this, is that I might have sports induced asthma.  So I discussed with Louie and we agree that I’ll make an appointment to see a doc soon.  For now, it’ll be alternating cardio and gym days, with PLENTY of hydration and NO EXCUSES.

I’ve been on workout programs before and I know how to push myself, so this has to come from within for me to make my changes.

In terms of my hobbies, it cuts back six hours of my time for workouts and another six for hers.  (As I use that time to spent time with Grace, while she’s at the gym)  So I gotta make time for it when I can.

This will be a time where I have to put my money where my mouth is and make it happen.  I’ll keep you posted.
